Set free by the liberating truth of God,
Once I had no hope, only dark despair.
Light entered through Gods’ mighty Word:
Awake my soul!! This new-found hope declare!!

When to Israel the Saviour was revealed,
Few recognised Gods’ Word being fulfilled.
From most the new covenant was concealed:
Israel as a nation is waiting still.

Their blindness brought great blessing to the world.
Far off lands and nations heard good news proclaimed.
Light broke through darkness, wherever it was heard.
Countless, once imprisoned souls, forever saved.

Oh Gentile!! Don’t be haughty in your mind.
Be thankful that by His grace you are redeemed.
Though Israel as a nation is still blind,
His promise to His people, God will keep.

“Oh Lord! Send your peace to Jerusalem.
May your kingdom come and your will be done”.
Great blessings will flow to all nations then,
In the millennial reign of Gods’ Son.
